Thomas L. Wallace began working at Dixie Paving Company, Inc. in 1958. He was hired as an equipment operator and was soon promoted to foreman. He was then asked to join the owners of the company as a working partner. By 1970, he had bought out all of the owners and became President/Owner of Dixie Paving Company, Inc. The company branched out from only performing paving projects to dirt excavation and then concrete, bridges, box culverts and building construction. In 1975 the company changed its name to T. L. Wallace Construction, Inc. They are presently one of the largest Contractors in the State of Mississippi and are also licensed to work in Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Texas, Tennessee, and Florida. Jay Carney has over 20 years experience in the construction industry, all of which are with T. L. Wallace Construction, Inc. having worked his way up from yard maintenance through executive management of the firm. Jay received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology and his MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi. He serves as Board Member for the following organizations: Mississippi Concrete Industry Association, Mississippi Commission for Volunteer Service (Governor appointed), State of Mississippi Teacher Accreditation Board for the Department of Education, Marion County Development Partnership (and Past Chair), Marion County Economic Development District, Columbia/Marion County Airport, Citizens Bank, USM Advisory Council for both Colleges of Business and Engineering. |

T.J. Dunaway has been in the construction industry for 20 years, with a focus on both project management and controls. Working his way up from an entry level comptroller position, through field project manager on paving projects, to CFO, he has held positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately rising to a level of direct responsibility and oversight for not only major projects but the company as a whole. T.J. graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. |

Mike Wallace has worked at T. L. Wallace Construction, Inc. for 33 years. He started out as an Operator, then spent 5 years as a foremen. He spent 15 years as a Project Manager overseeing several large jobs. He currently serves as Executive Vice President. |

Darryl Harris is Executive Vice President / COO for T.L. Wallace Construction. He is responsible for the overall management direction of all functions, daily operations, and long range planning for TL Wallace Construction Management/General Contracting/Design Build and Program Management efforts.
He sets company objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate guidelines. Darryl is responsible for the overall profit/loss for the company’s divisions, which include Bridge / Heavy Civil / Disaster Response / Commercial / Industrial / Asphalt / Utilities. He also heads up Professional Services for the company. He has over 35 years in the construction industry and is DBIA and FMI certified. Darryl has been responsible for quality standards of construction and code compliance on projects throughout the United States. He has effectively assumed control of multi-project administration from design through close-out, based on broad and diversified experience consistently exceeding operational and personal work expectations, and bringing projects in on time and within budget. |
